1. Data protection at a glance

General notes

The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.

Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection provisions of the Swiss Confederation (Data Protection Act, DSG), every person has the right to protection of their privacy as well as protection against misuse of their personal data. We comply with these provisions. In principle, we only collect personal data if it is necessary for the provision of the specific service. Personal data is treated as strictly confidential. Your data will not be passed on unless we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. request by an investigating authority) or authorized to do so (e.g. as part of commissioned data processing) or you have expressly consented to the transfer of your data to third parties. In particular, data will be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the fulfillment or processing of the contract. Third parties are of course also obliged to protect your data and to use it only for the precisely specified purpose. In addition, they are obliged to treat the data in accordance with this data protection declaration and the applicable legal situation. We process personal data for the period of time required for the respective purpose or purposes. In the event of longer retention periods due to legal and other obligations to which we are subject, we will adjust the processing accordingly.

The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is any data by which you can be personally identified. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.

In close cooperation with our hosting providers, we make every effort to protect the databases as well as possible against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or falsification.

We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing and, if necessary, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data. Please note that we reserve the right to demand proof of identity in this case as well, and that in the event of deletion of your data, it will not be possible to use our services or not to the full extent. With the help of the Facebook pixel, we can also track the effectiveness of the Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad (so-called "conversion").

The processing of data by Facebook takes place within the framework of Facebook's data usage policy. Accordingly, general information on the display of Facebook ads, in Facebook's data usage policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy.
